Marie, I am not going to ask you if you like this bag I have made for myself, oh no, I am not going to do that.

Hi everyone,
As you all know, Marie and I are very fond of all sorts of handmade crafts. I love to sew, and Marie loves to model what I have created. I started sewing when I was a little girl. I always had a shoebox full of small pieces of bridal fabrics (I came from a big family of tailors, and they used to make wedding and evening gowns and all sort of bridal wear). Anyways, I have this bag to share with you. The colors are not really for the summer, but more for the fall. I know no one wants to hear this 4-letter word at this time, but I would love to share these 2 bags with you.
Enjoy, and I would love to hear your comments.

I found this picture of Alexandria; and I would love to share it with you. This area of the city is very ancient- say from the time of Alexander the Great (he is the one who build the city, and alas, the name of the city came from it's founder!). Some say that Alexander the Great is buried in the city. A few years ago Cleopatra's palace site was found under water nearby. Enjoy!

Hiiiiiii. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Today is a hot summer day, and Marie decided to share with you her summer wardrobe of bags. These designs are inspired by my visits to the Egyptian beautiful beaches on the mediterrean, as well as the busy market in the afternoon. As for the evening, family and friends gather to go to the open theatre, which you can enjoy art and music. I chose a summer colors and sturdy Egyptian cotton fabrics. I just really like different light color combinations. Plus, working with cotton fabrics is always wonderful. I sew three layers to make sure that my bags are very sturdy as well as beautiful. On the inside of the bag, I sewed three big pockets to hold keys, cell phone and makeup so items like that are easily accessible and not lost in the bag. I made the flower in the center to give it an extra buzz.
