An Apron with a Twist.

Hi everyone, it has a while since my last post,  and believe me when I say to you, that my absance was  not due to lazniness, not at all. I am just busy at school, and trying to finsh the school year . 

Well today, I would love to share with you some of my new sawn kitchen aprons. 

One of them  particulary, as you in the picture , is a non traditional , it has the  theme  of my designs but insead of all fabric I decided to make the upper half from  red crochet yarn...

 I love red for the kitchen, espeially in the summer, add when you add a splash of white to it, you get  a look not only happy but fresh as well. 

This apron will need a special person who not only enjoy cooking, but also  fun loving lol.

These beautiful, and vibrant handbags are made by the gifted and visionary fashion designer Deepak Perwani . Deepak Perwani  is a prominent fashion designer in pakistan, he designs kurta, saris , dresses, and to my delight handbags.
 His handmade bags are up scale, and beautifully done. He participated in shows nationwide , and showed his designs Internationally. 
I hope you can  draw some of your inspirations from his work, as for myself, I would love to get my hands on one of these handbags :)
PS: Did I mention they are all handmade ( we have no excuse ladies LOL)

Mighty Ducks

I have been working on this embroidery project for  over a week. I had this piece of linen for sometime, and when my sister-in-law sent me all these rich colors embroidery floss from England, I had to put them to a good use.  So everyday after dinner, I take around an hour or so to work in the project. I finally completed my project today . I am so proud of myself for sticking with this project, because I had not embroidered anything for a long while. Actually I have not decided what to do with it.  I will think of something :-).
