These beautiful, and vibrant handbags are made by the gifted and visionary fashion designer Deepak Perwani . Deepak Perwani  is a prominent fashion designer in pakistan, he designs kurta, saris , dresses, and to my delight handbags.
 His handmade bags are up scale, and beautifully done. He participated in shows nationwide , and showed his designs Internationally. 
I hope you can  draw some of your inspirations from his work, as for myself, I would love to get my hands on one of these handbags :)
PS: Did I mention they are all handmade ( we have no excuse ladies LOL)

Tapestry Bag.

I love the rich colours in these tapestry fabrics. They are so lovely and ornate, I just adore them.  It reminds me of traditional Eastern European brocade fabric. I love them!

The Antoinette,

My inspiration for this bag was France's last over-the-top queen, Marie Antoinette.

Easily one of the most famous people of her time, Marie Antoinette was the epitome of royalty in Europe. The  beginning of her career as a queen was also the beginning of her career as the ultimate fashion icon in Europe.

Look Who is Busy ? ...

Hi Everyone, I hope you all doing well,  happy, and most of all warm. 

I did not post anything on my blog for a while... is it laziness?  not really ... 

I have been busy  creating my Summer line of Aprons and hand bags on my new sewing machine. I bought a limited edition, project runway  sewing machine,  it was a present from my husband :) 

 I have been stitching constantly despite  suffering from the Flu . I have to admit, I get the flu shot every year , but this year I decided to be a rebel and not take the shot, why did I do that? I don't know... needless to say , I am paying the price now.

I have been enjoying very much making these aprons, and I made over 20 aprons all different colors. What I really adore is using summer bright  colors in the dead of winter, I Love it... it warms me up. I will be posting pics of them inthe next post, and I hope you like them. As for my bags , I will start on them in mid week, and I will show pics of them as soon as I finish each bag. I am really exited and can't wait to show you what I came up with.

 I can't wait for Thanksgiving to cook. Armed with the Turkey baster in one hand, and a carving knife in the other hand, Mama is ready-!! Bring it on! Is it normal to get extra exited about cooking for Thanksgiving ?

Double the Happiness

Hi everyone,

Today I want to introduce my twins. My dear friends, before you get a head of yourselves here, I am talking about bags-!!!

When I made these bags, it really called out for something red. I thought, well, the color of the fabric looks vintage, and often crochet work very well to create a whole vintage look, so I made some flowers, and a Ribbon out of red cotton crochet yarn, However; It is these little wallet that I adore-!!

Actually I learned how to crochet when I was seven years old, and the one who taught me was my neighbor , she  was herself six years old at the time. -!! She taught me how to make a crochet chain (I have to mention, that six years old girl is now a physician in  Egypt.) Anyway, I hope you like my flashback down memory lane, and most of all I hope you like my bags.
